Operations Workshops kickoff the 20th National Conference, Thursday, April 4th. We are offering them in two 45-minute tracks at 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM and you can take up to two (2) workshops.

Principles, Responsibilities and Duties

This Ethics and Standards workshop will review to some and introduce to others the basic principles, responsibilities, and duties written in the revised National Code of Conduct. The engaging discussion will cover the Core Values, the Code of Ethics, the Disciplinary Code, Types of Disciplinary Actions and Fines found within the Revised Code of Conduct. Join this rigorous discussion and stress the importance of practicing integrity, honesty, displaying high professional standards and competence, and building genuine friendships while conducting chapter business, and promoting youth within the community as advocates for the arts.

The Society History Book: Our Literary Arts Master Showcase!
Valerie Cooper, Chair
An overview of the newly launched Society History Book will be presented, and the contents from each section will be previewed. 2-3 contributing authors will be invited share about the creation of their respective sections and instructions on how to order a printed versions of the book will be discussed. The session will conclude with all participants receiving instructions on how to download their very own digital copy of the Society History Book and all will leave the session with a copy on their mobile devices!
